Our Services

VAT services

Value Added Tax affects all businesses. When VAT was introduced in 1973, it was presented as a "simple tax". It is far from that and our expertise and experience in this area can ensure that clients do not fall foul of VAT rules and regulations.

Its rules are particularly complex and whilst recent additions to the VAT legislation surrounding cash accounting and annual schemes are intended to reduce the administrative burden upon businesses, this merely increases the need for planning in order to understand what works best for you.

We work with a wide variety of businesses, all requiring varying levels of support. We assist our clients to ensure that VAT compliance takes up as little of their time as possible, and that their VAT liabilities are minimised.

We can assist with the following:

  • VAT registration and de-registration
  • Advice on selecting the right schemes
  • Completion of VAT Returns
  • Checking your VAT Returns and working papers, if necessary
In addition, VAT and land and property is a particularly complex and crucial area for many clients. We act for a number of clients in this and related industries, and therefore have extensive experience in this area..
