He joined BDO Stoy Hayward in September 1981, having obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Queen Mary College, London University earlier that year. He rose to the dizzy heights of assistant audit manager at Stoys before leaving in October 1987 to join David and establishing Leigh Saxton Green.
Tim is the firm's Audit Compliance Partner. He very much enjoys having a regular involvement with his clients, and working closely with them, as this enables him to understand their business, thereby enhancing the value of the advice that he is able to give.
Tim works in a number of different sectors including property, manufacturing, professional partnerships, and technology, media and telecommunications. He acts for many different shapes and sizes of client, but specialises in advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses in a wide range of business advisory issues including strategic planning, tax planning, corporate finance and acquisition and disposal planning, as well as audit and tax compliance issues.
Tim acts as Finance Director for approximately 6 clients, some of which are seeking first or second phase financing, and/or a public listing.
Tim is very proud of what the practice has achieved over the last 20 years in terms of its relationships with its clients and also its staff. He is committed to ensuring that these high standards are maintained and built upon over the next 20 years.
Outside of the office, Tim ensures that he spends as much time as possible with his wife and young son, although he does find time to pursue his life-long interest in masochism, by continuing to support Spurs.
